IC 447

IC 447 is a reflection nebula in the constellation Monoceros. It contains several massive B-type stars and marks one end of the Monoceros R1 star-forming filament, with IC 446 at the other. Its formation may be linked to the more massive members of the young open cluster Collinder 95.
